All our rooms are individually furnished and decorated with a personal touch. They are en-suite with all the expected amenities and have balconies with views over the golf course.
The area is well known, not only for its superb temperate sub-tropical climate in summer as well as winter, but also for it’s many scenic and adventurous attractions. The lodge is within close proximity of the world-renowned Kruger National Park as well as the Blyde River Canyon with panoramic drives along the escarpment and lies in a Malaria-free area. The nearby Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport gives easy access from and to any major city in South Africa and also internationally.
The White River Country Club has an 18-hole championship golf course set amongst picturesque plantations on the banks of the White River. The existing 9-hole golf course at White River was completely revamped into a new and exciting 18-hole layout. Gary Player and Reg Taylor played a part in the re-design, and the golf course can be enjoyed by golfers of all levels. The river runs through the parkland course, and the abundance of water and forests provides a beautiful setting for golf, and also a few interesting challenges. In addition to the golf course the club offers excellent tennis, squash, cricket, hockey, and swimming facilities, all of which can be enjoyed year-round due to the fantastic climate in the region.
The in-house Wellness Centre is operated by professional health and skincare therapists and offer a variety of massages, face and body treatments. Our guests enjoy access to the golf course at member rates and may also use the tennis or squash facilities.
